FT, Attention Please!
I do not wish to get into lengthy details but just wanted to warn. This can happen with you.

I was just cutting organic cotton. And the pressure applied was very very little. Still this happened.

And this happened too. That broken piece shot up right in my left eye!

Going to the doc, further details later on. Just wanted to warn immediately. Thankfully, I can still see after some bleeding.

Wow that sucks.

Must've been some strong cotton.

Hope your eye will be OK. =(

Not to be rude but there is a warning on the handle ( Use Safety Glasses) and must've been a bit more pressure than you thought to shoot out that fast to hit your eye and do that kind of damage.

Still it shouldn't have broken cutting just cotton unless it bound up or twisted the cutters .

I have similar cutters brake cutting thin wire myself and always wear safety glasses just in case something shoots out (which happens often).

Good luck at the Doctor and I'm glad it only hit the white part of your eye as it could've been much worse if hit the center/pupil. >.<

On a serious note I hope your eye is okay. We're all guilty of not following safety suggestions at one time or another.

Be safe and vape on.

You may want to now as you can clearly see what happened to Andyk.

Bad luck yes but very possible.

I don't wear eye gear when cutting my cotton but then again my toe nail clippers don't tell me too either. I'm going to goggle up from now on y.o.l.o.

That must have scared the shit out of you mate. Hope it all heals up OK.

I don't wear safety glasses usually, But I do wear prescription glasses. I really should use safety glasses while messing about with power tools though given the amount of times stuffs pinged off the lenses.

Once again, I hope that heals up fast and fully....... Could have been a lot worse.

Reman.
