All the reviews say 28G/.32mm is the thinnest wire it can use. It is for micro coils and 28G is the thinnest wire recommended for micro coils so no real point making it so it can wind thinner wire.

It's a matter of scale, too. If you wind really small diameters, with thin wire, they can perform pretty well as nanocoils.
KF4 Leaking? For a more secure seal, replace the o-ring #16 with one that is 1.5mm cross section. SKU 1536606 or SKU 1536607

eGrip doesn't go low enough for very long small gauge coils. About 4 or 5 wraps is all I can get it to feed. That is using a rebuilt factory head, not the RBA.

I wick my coils with cotton and make sure that it's ends press up against the SS mesh that I replace the cotton in the outer can with.

i see you use ss mesh outer its very good idea
i was thinking this outer is the problem because the dry hit is usually from wicking
i use cotton also but i let outer because its so difficult to change it specially if i have not japaness cotton (i use normal organic cotton)
i will try ss mesh if it solve the problem

If you have any other idea plz let me know
i had dry hit after 2 or 3 puff

Thanks

+1 details
I think it's a matter of the screw size.
If you can find another screw, that will use the same threads on the top piece, with a slightly larger head, then it should be able to wind the thinner 32G wire.
Same reason it has 2 screw positions, so that the screw head is not too far away from the wire to wind the coil properly.

It may work with 32G without finding another screw but it is likely that it will be more difficult to wind the perfect coil, due to the amount of gap between the winding rod & the screw head.

So with this can you you do as many wraps as you like or is it limited to the the number of winds you can do. For example I usually do 10 to 12 wraps of 28Kanthal on 2mm pin for my dual coil Orchid to get the resistance I want.
