Rayon melting
I'm running a 0.28 ohm coil on this, and although I'm keeping my wick saturated, it keeps melting in the middle.
The coil has a nice, even glow.
What am I doing wrong?

You could have a hot spot in your coil, try a spaced coil and see if that does not fix it.

Why blame the mod without identifying the atomizer and coil being used?

Like blaming the light switch for an unidentified (40W) light bulb burning out in an unspecified light fixture...

Probably just the opposite, since rayon doesn't expand like cotton when wet. He, more than likely, doesn't have a enough rayon with a firm surface contact inside of the coil. The biggest contributer to the problem, is the lack of cooling provided by the juice at the center most portion (hotter area) of the coil. That's where the melt down begins...

Bet you were just left with a couple of pointy nubs poking inside the ends of the coil?
Bet you said to yourself WTF is going on here... :)

Yup been there, done that. Lol

Maybe also go larger diameter coil, depending on what size you have in it now.

Your not putting enough threw coil it needs to be quite snug, unlike cotton
M2mm x 3mm or 4mm - M2.5mmm x 3 or 4mm - M3mm x 3 or 4mm screws /grubs etc for new vapers will be invaluable
