IMO there's no such thing as cotton being too tight too. If you can drag it through the coil with just short of enough force required to rip the whole coil off of the atty that's perfect.

Think of back in the day when we used to wrap coils around cotton rather than pull it through a coil as we do now. If you're not applying a lot of force to pull the cotton through the coil you're nowhere near as tight as it will be wrapping the wire around the cotton old school style.
If all you're doing is tossing idiot fallacies around all day on behalf of one political agenda you're either incredibly stupid or just punching the clock.

It's a reload x, single coil, 0.28 ohms. Coil is SKU 8952001

It just put in the rayon rather loose, And it melted in the middle after a few draws.

No visible hotspots.

I'm out of ideas.

If I leave cotton for a few days then I have this too, even though the cotton is wet, the coil starts to glow from the inside out and this is the cause, the center is heated the fastest, to avoid this you would the cotton may have to change every day.

As TruckinVapor and gph61 said I would try to use more wick than less. I'm guessing it is not cooling/wicking fast enough to the center of the coil thus it just disintegrates from the heat.

I wick my RDAs tight AF. I do this for a couple different reasons, mostly because it restricts air from traveling into the coil and reduces spit-back (I hate spit-back). I also find it wicks much faster and pushes the liquid to the outside of the cotton, keeping the coil saturated thus cooler. With a clear unsweetened liquid I could probably vape for weeks without any burning of the cotton or FF. I don't use rayon but I assume the principle would be similar.

The only time I notice any degradation of my wick is with sweetened liquids and I think that has more to do with the caramelization of the sweetener at the coils hottest point, the center. The more the sweetener "cooks" the more it slows down the wicking process, the more it burns the cotton.

I am in no way an expert in any field whatsoever, but adding more wick might be worth a try for you. I know that some people complain that tight wicking reduces flavour, but I don't experience that at all. So long as your coil is properly placed within any RDA you should get amazing flavour. Some RDAs make that easy, but for some it's more challenging. If you do like spit-back though you may the flavour not quite the same. That has more to do with having liquid on the tongue though, than anything else.

Sorry, that post was far longer than it needed to be.

Unless I am mistaken, you are using rayon as wick for your vapor smoking atomizers? Is this safe to inhale such a thing?

Yes. That is correct.

Imo, it is safer. It does not burn like cotton and you do not get dry hits.
Also, it wicks better
