It's the same size as the KF V5 and that's M2*3.

SKU 3989104 should fit just fine. The head of the screw is a little bit smaller compared with a KF V5 screw. This should be good for the KF V5 mini to avoid the screw head touching the chimney and creating a short.

If the head is a bit too small and doesn't touch the legs on the build deck just screw it al the way down and use a plier to squeeze the legs to touch the screw head.

Well I have a V5 not the mini one that was my mistake sorry. SKU 3989104 looks fine to what I need , Actually it looks like the original one that I have.
also, I'm curios about squeezing the deck heads !! can you explain that a bit in details ?
appreciate your assistance here

There's two L shaped legs that keep the wire under the screw head. These legs should touch the screw head. If the screw head is a bit smaller you probably going to have to bend them a bit with a plier to make them touch the screw head.

I got you , reducing the space between the screw head and legs to prevent weir from loosen if the head is a bit smaller. I'm I right ? In fact its brilliant idea , I had that issue before the weir keep loosen specially when using small diameter weirs .
I will keep that in mind for future :)
thanks AlienGrey

That's right. It's to make sure the wire stays under the screw head. That was my biggest complaint about the SteamTribe KF V5 mini. The size of the builddeck screws wasn't M2*3mm but smaller. That's why I said they were too small and M2*3mm screws should have been used.

The funny thing is that I checked the M2*3mm screws that I bought from FT and they are from SteamTribe. ???
