World Cup
Early contender for the 'Thunderbastard' award.

Some iffy ref decisions in this game.

Spain's pass game was silky smooth, really enjoyable to watch.

Quite agree gav, had I been the ref Spain would have won by at least 4-0.

I’d have sent off Ronaldo for that dive in the penalty area after four minutes

The second Portuguese goal would’ve been ruled off-side.

I’d have allowed Spain’s goal that came off the underside of the bar.

And thought of something wrong with Ronaldo’s third had he still been on the pitch.

None of the reasoning above is in any way affected by me having drawn Spain in the sweep.

For tactical reasons I was hoping that Portugal would win, but also that Ronaldo would break his leg in the last minute.
Great game anyway.

France vs. Australia. Now that was akward to watch .

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Nah, quite pleasant. The only awkward thing was: I needed France to win for my office pool, but I wanted Australia to win because they seem like nice guys. But, so far I have two out of two correct , today.

If Denmark wins 2-0, and Croatia wins 6-1, I'll have 4 out of 4 today and I'll for sure be leading the office pool.
