So i was looking for some info on e-packets and ems, china post site
and there info on e-packets show

China Post ePacket
China Post ePacket is a fast global courier service. It is a little bit slower than EMS but faster than airmail. Price is much cheaper than EMS but a little bit more expensive than airmail. Normally it will take about 2 to 4 weeks to arrive destination country from China. fasttech has this set at 6 to 12 days

China Post EMS
China EMS is the fastest global courier service by China Post. Normally it will take about 1 to 2 weeks to arrive destination country from China.

China Post Register Airmail
China Post Register Mail is an economical and slow shipping service. Normally it will take about 2 to 4 weeks to arrive destination country from China.

so e-packets are no faster than China Post Register Airmail
and we pay for e-packets.

China Post ePacket tracking# starts with L (however LF and LH number still belong to airmail).
EMS tracking number is a 13-digit tracking code starting with letter "E"
Register Airmail tracking number is a 13-digit tracking code starting with letter "R"

Again, Canada, not the UK but cant imagine the country of destination shall make much difference, but I have just had another package make it through, enroute to Canada and it was only shipped from FT on Saturday..

That one had a mod inside, magnets but has sailed though.
Mentioned earlier that 2 other packages went though last night.
Still have more to go, but bet that will take place today......

So, it seems to be moving again...

I used singpost, my package left China on June 26 and landed in B.C. July 1st. It has since went through Canada customs and is on it's way to Ontario.

Good to know.
My first packages finally made it through a couple of weeks ago and one last week.
Since then i made the mistake of thinking that shipping had improved.

Got briefly stuck again withe e-packet but they are now all moving quickly to Canada.
How long they take when they get here t hough, who knows.

So in short, what i order this week will definetely go SingPost then!!!

Never thought Id see the day that Singpost was the best option here 😁

Before the ePacket solutions were available I used to have most of my orders shipped with SingPost.
The average shipping time to Europe was 18 calendar days then (2015-2017).

They have improved since. My latest parcels (last month) averaged 10 calendar days.

@desuede

Might've been a better option for the UK than Canada?!
Back in the day before e-packets, it took about 30-45 days to arrive here.

I had one that took almost 4 months.
If e-packets continue to worsen, at least for Canadians, everyone will soon jump back on Singpost, so for now I will risk it.

Possibly, but I wouldn't know.

One other alternative is Hong Kong Post. But that one has been slower than Singpost historically, at least to Europe.
