Indeed @Desuede they didn't even check tracking before replying. The funny part is in the ticket they asked me to call my post office on this number (+593 2) 3 828 400 Opción 6990". This number is for Ecuador.

@Anniepan please ask staff to check what they write before sending an answer.

For the 3rd time I live in Malta not Ecuador!!!

I checked with my post office and they have details that package left Beijing on the 30th July. Nothing more.

I would suggest you read @Anniepan's first post in this thread again:

That indicates that FT has an ongoing inquiry with China Post and/or its carrier and they are awaiting a clarifying response.
From experience I know that these matters take time.

I am mentioning that because I recently had a shipment from FT that went AWAL.
No tracking records of it anywhere after 2 weeks.
I suspected that I might have got a faulty tracking ID and opened a ticket asking customer service to double check the tracking ID for that parcel.

After two days i got the following answer:
It's correct tracking number RP106428339SG.
Please click: https://t.17track.net/en#nums=RF721170565SG
Could you kindly give it a couple of days first? It should update soon.


Three days later I got another ticket message:
Carrier changed the tracking number before.
It's RF72117XXXXSG.
Sorry for issue we caused.


So apparently they had made an inquiry with the relevant carrier and gave me a disorienting answer before the carrier had answered them.
It might be something similar in your case.

By the time they confirmed the hickup my parcel was already stuck at my country's customs for one week.

We are really sorry about the wrong phone number offered. Our staff should check the phone number first to find the problem. Sincerely sorry about the inconvenience caused this time.

We did forward your issue to our Post and asked them to investigate your package status. And we have contacted them again today. We also claimed to them about the wrong phone number they offered and requested them to offer a correct one.

According to our experience, once the local Post website can trace the package tracking information, the package should arrive in the destination country. For registered postal mail, the tracking is not updated in real time. The further tracking status would be updated only after the item clears destination custom and is handed over to local post office for delivery. Maybe the package is stuck in the customs and waiting for import. Would you mind to wait a few days more, I will answer your ticket and help you solve the issue until the package is delivered.

We do really appreciate your patience and understanding.

@anniepan, any updates on my order? The package as for chinapost is still in Quito and hasn't moved since the 8th of August. I'm starting to loose hope that package will arrive to destination. I never had this problem after all my orders with fasttech and my patience is coming to an end. Can you give me a date when you will take action?

Finally an update from tracking information.

NLAMSA, Item departed from transit mail sorting centre.

At least package has moved. Let's wait and see what's next.
