My quest for the perfect atomizer has been long, expensive, and filled with disappointment. I stopped counting at fifty atty's. After my last buying binge, I gave it a rest for a few months and just recently purchased some of the newer RTA's to hit the market. This styled Ubertoot is one of them and, though it isn't perfect, it's a huge improvement over all the other single coil atomizers I have. I'm not a huge cloudz guy, but I do like a fair amount of vapor, and IMO the Ubertoot produces a more then ample amount. During my 47 years of smoking cigarettes, I switched brands perhaps 3 times. I'm the same way with vaping, and only vape my own home-made 30/70 tobacco juice. The flavor is very good with this RTA and I've had no issues with my 70% VG juice. Until now, every single RBA/RTA/Clearomizer I've used has eventually leaked, no matter how it was wicked. What has impressed me the most with the Ubertoot is that it really hasn't leaked at all. Even after extended use the amount of seepage, which is primarily the result of condensation, is extremely minimal. Many of these newer atomizers offer adjustable juice flow control, which I have come to truly appreciate, and having AFC is just standard now days. The Ubertoot doesn't have top fill, but it isn't difficult to fill and it provides a stainless steel stand to make it even easier. I use both single and dual coil atomizers, but prefer the single coil for simplicity, as long as I can get good vapor and flavor. The Ubertoot, along with my new Bachelor RTA, has now retired all my older single coil atomizers. The bachelor barely edges out the Ubertoot for flavor, but the Ubertoot has the least amount of seepage of any atty I own. The Ubertoot is one of the pricier clones, but IMO worth every penny and I highly recommend it.

PROS
Excellent build quality Bits held securely Extra collets Accommodates a wide range of bit sizes
CONS
None, so far
Very pleased with the solid heavyweight build quality. I had been using something similar, except that it has a fixed bit that can't be changed, and the bit eventually broke. Paid significantly more for that at a hobby store. This one is considerably heavier, better made, and far more versatile. Great tool to have on hand for mods and small DIY projects.

I have always clearly preferred a single coil atty, and have proven to myself many times over that flavor and volume can be just as good, if not better, than the dual coils. This Merlin is a solid well built single coil RTA that produces good flavor and volume. With 3.5mm and 2.4mm air flow holes, this RTA should meet anyone's air flow requirement. The velocity deck is easy to coil and wick and, so far, I've experienced no ohm fluctuations. This atty can and will leak over time, but seems to be better about it than most. The Ubertoot is the best RTA I've ever used with regard to leaking, but this Merlin isn't too bad. If you like single coils, definitely give this one a shot.

CONS
Leaks
After the disappointment of the Bellus, the Aromizer was my next best hope. What I want is a RTA that offers the vapor, flavor, and convenient filling of the Lemo 2, but WITHOUT THE LEAKING. This isn't it. Though promoted as a leak-proof device, like ALL the others... it does leak. Like many others, I've spent a fortune trying to find that perfect device. The simple fact is that it doesn't exist and I'm not sure it ever will. Like most things in life, the device you end up using most of the time is a compromise. For me, the Lemo 2 is still the best RTA compromise and the Aromizer, like the Bellus, falls very short.

PROS
Stainless Steel construction Internal, external, and depth measurements Accurate Extra Battery Storage case
CONS
None so far...
On receipt I noticed it had the Radio Shack brand name on the back, so I looked it up on the RS site. This is the exact caliper Radio Shack sells for $24.99. Though I only received it today, I played with it for quite a while this evening and it seems to be highly accurate and repeatable. This caliper was actually heavier than expected and came with an extra battery, and a very nice formed hard plastic storage case. IMO this is an excellent buy for a very useful tool.
