Works nicely, but needs a flat to be ground on the axle, if you want to attach anything like SKU 1252704. Runs smoothly and high-speed at 6V, but starts heating up at 9V. I wouldn't risk running this at the claimed 12V max for any length of time.

PROS
Decent clone Sturdy Quality electronics and OLED screen Very cheap
CONS
Needed modding to make it fire "l337" laser engraving is poor Semi-polish finish looks cheap No manual, instructions or QC
With the authentic costing $400-$600, I couldn't let this one escape from my mod collection. Out of the box, one of the buttons was stuck pressed. It took some patience and a sturdy fingernail to get it to pop out, no problems since. Don't get tempted by the spring-loaded pins to put the battery in positive down: the battery goes in the normal way up. The DNA35 clone chip and OLED screen perform just like the original, as far as I can tell. The mod didn't fire at first, showing the dreaded "Check atomizer" error, except when I partially unscrewed the 510 top cap. Clearly the ring of solder on the top PCB was too thin. A minute bit of extra solder, spread around the ring, made all the difference. All it needs now is a Scothbrite treatment to make it look presentable, and even resemble the authentic. The user guide can be found online: it is the same as for any original DNA30/DNA35 mod.

PROS
Cheap Good for pre-heated coil wire Jaws line up nicely Makes a distinct clean cut
CONS
Brittle steel Only for soft wire Handle plastic smells for a week Breaks surprisingly easily
Always wanted one of these for clean and tidy cutting of electronic wiring or Kanthal coil wire. It does what it is advertised for: cutting Kanthal wire for RBA's, but only on softened pre-heated wire. When trying a clean cut on a piece of soft plastic, one of the jaws snapped clean off. The dull gray break surface was indicative of very brittle steel, despite the inability of cutting unheated Kanthal without damaging the cutting surface. Thank God I already ordered the stronger stainless variant.

PROS
Does what it says 20 times cheaper than identical Pressy Keychain/headphone holder
CONS
Chinese-only manual Manual hardly indicates which app to use Mediocre build quality
Finally a correctly priced alternative to the $30 Pressy on Kickstarter. One of the three sprung apart after first extraction, the other two still work. Best free apps on Google Play Store are Pressy (paid), KeyCut (free) and iKey (free).

PROS
Good Quality
CONS
Poor packaging
Excellent product at a great price. Would even be better if you could buy these as a dozen in a neutral box: they would make excellent gifts.
