how to use
how do you use this thing, no instructions and no matter where i plug the pins in or where i put the dial i get no readings at all. the battery is good and the pins are making contact to both my battery i am trying to read and the meter itself.
maybe this thing is broken?
i just dont give a shit anymore....

Sorry to hear! So what is it doing anyway, not registering at all, even if you touch the leads together on ohms setting?

Did you try giving it a thump like you would an old TV? :)

nothing, just a single zero on the display, no readings, in any mode.

Sorry about this issue.

The probes seemed to be function well since the zero ohm was shown when you shorted the probes together, it is probably the fuse problem in the multimeter, we are checking on it and will keep you updated within a few hours.

I have one of these not from here but the exact same one. I noticed the leads are very cheaply made (of course it is a very cheap meter) and on mine I have to make sure the leads are pushed in snug. Not too hard as it is cheap so ya don't want to push too hard. Other than that it works very well, for resistance and volts at least. Every time I have tested resistance on my attys it has been spot on with what my vamos read. At first I thought mine didn't work right cuz I didn't know to touch the leads together to get their resistance first. Lol. Then you subtract that from the resistance it shows when you touch your neg and pos on the atty. On this one set the resistance on 200. For battery volts turn it to the left hand side volts on 20. Then of course red is positive and black is negative. Works much better than I anticipated when I spent $10 for this in the US. Came looking for a better one since I want a backup.
