I made my first copper wire spring last night. Was kind of fun except for the getting the wire out of the coaxial cable.

After wrapping it around my mandrel and fixing the lower end with a clamp, I grabbed the upper end and stretched it up and compressed it down, over and over. Then I took it off the mandrel and flexed it clockwise and counterclockwise. Then I put it back on the mandrel and made sure it was shaped and sized well. I ended up with a very springy piece of copper. I compressed it into the mod side of the switch to judge how many wraps would do a full compression and cut it.

Hits hard and smooth.
KF4 Leaking? For a more secure seal, replace the o-ring #16 with one that is 1.5mm cross section. SKU 1536606 or SKU 1536607

I had magnets in all my Nemesis no more back to springs. I never really noticed much of a performance difference one way or the other. Both work all the same for me. IMO the spring is better because it is not fragile.
It is time we stop accepting the things we cannot change, and start changing the things we cannot accept...

You actually dont.. I had my nemesis for a looooong time and didnt have the need to upgrade from the regular spring switch... installed correctly, the spring on my nemesis switch worked just fine..

personal preference mostly.. and if you'd want to replace your switch's throw and stiffness, you know, in case it cant support the weight of the mod+atty standing up.. you can always replace it with a different spring, or a couple of those magnets..

a copper wire coiled up properly and used as a spring works wonders.. :)

This. I added magnets mainly because I enjoy fiddling and tinkering but the Nemesis works fine either way. As with most things related to vaping, it is a matter of personal preference.

Some Nems need above magnets. All Nems need 14 mm OD x 9.5 mm ID x 1 mm thick magnets. Not sold here.

It's very simple and takes only a few seconds. You just put the two magnets in where the spring is. The sides with opposite polarity should face each other so they repel away. Here's a quick YouTube tutorial. Be careful not to lose the small pin! Happy vaping!
