But peanut187, in this case it's a brass tank meaning that the liquid will sit in brass. I don't think the heat is even an issue here.

Edited on 3/12/2014 at 7:05 AM. Reason: sit not suit

I've seen a 22mm Origin on another site can't link it here but type it into google you'll find it. I wonder if FT will carry the 22mm version.

Edit: this would be perfect for the stingray

If there was problems way back in the day with brass water fixtures and lead leaching into peoples drinking water. Then wouldnt the same problem be here as well with leaching into our e-liquid?

How 'bout "hybriding" it with brass Stingray.
Hell yeah, it's rocket science!

@adamsky, That might be a great idea (putting aside the issue of the brass flavoured liquid), but it depends if the base can be removed. It looks quite different to the other aquas.

@grobbins exactly. It is all about the compound. There is a brass which can be used for water-pipes but is this one kind of this?

@TheMadVaperNL "Did somebody make a test of clone materials..." - I dont know about it. It would be very interesting. I hope the EU-commission wont be the first doing this :/
***As some people stated here before - even the SS has some Pb an other dangerous metals. And it is not only about grade of SS which is important.

And again - FT, if you send at least some mods/atties for testing and declare they are "OK", part of us would buy such tested versions even if it is 10+ bucks more (still one third or less of original price).

@Garbsener Oh, sry - I compared side by side with pictures and you are right. Everything is different. Top cap has not so deep cut, chamber is not so thick (reminds me squape more), drip tip has different dimensions, threading is more rough...
Which leads me to the question - would it work in hybrid mod with stingray etc.? Normal Aqua does but its threadings have different dimensions. And honestly - I prefer Taifun because of better vapor but I love how small Aqua is in hybrid mode.

You can buy a lead test kit at any Home Depot or paint store for $10 or less. All brass has lead in it, they add it to make the brass more machinable US water fittings have less than .05% but inferior brass can have up to 8% China's quality control has always been questionable. There are literally no regulations. I would be more concerned about the Chome plated brass in the posts where the coil is and getting constantly heated up. You can pickle your brass to remove the lead on the surface by mixing 1 part hydrogen peroxide and 2 parts vinager soaking and scrubbing

Don't you see that it comes with two drip tips? But never use a brass tank , it is toxic with your liquid.

A bit off-topic: I am concerned with what is seen through the airholes on both the 1st and the 3rd picture. Nothing like this on my ss Aqua.
