Charge Mode X Battys
So, should I charge in normal or low mode? I have 2 Samsung 25R.
Also, a guy said to me that I should not let the battys go down to less than 3.6 v because it's bad for the battery. Is that right?

2.8v is the lowest i think. Most say 3v but idk
Find out what the max charge rate is. I think 25r can take upto 4 amp max charge

This charger can't provide anywhere near the max continuous charge current of a Samsung 25r.
Whatever li ion setting you use will be fine.
Anything below 2.8V is an overdischarge, but 3.2V is a good minimum for most any li ion cell.
Then again, if you use mechanical mods, most of us notice a major performance drop at the 3.7V-3.4V range, which is why most of us charge our power cells at that time.

I am a bit confused...

You should always go with the C ratings.
While the amps given by standard and max give a basic idea of what the batteries will tolerate, the batteries capacity will decrease with usage.
That 4 amps max will change, monitor the capacity of your batteries during last charge to determine if you can still charge them at 4 amps the next time.
All depend on how long you are willing to wait.
Safe rates for 25R are from a few miliamps up to 4 amps maximum.

But what that has to do with charging the battys in low (300mah) or normal (500mah) mode? Sorry if I sound stupid, but I am a noob about all of this.

What I don't get is what the Amps have to do with the mah and voltage. Isn't the Amps only the limit that the batty can handle?

300mah low mode should charge your batteries in approx 8.5 hours
500mah normal mode should charge your batteries in approx 5 hours
Most of the charge rates of batteries used for vaping are high enough for you not to worry about if your using a nitecore charger.
I only use the low mode for when I charge AA or AAA NiMh batteries all my vaping batteries I just turn on the charger and put them straight in and don't worry about the buttons but I still keep an eye on them as you can never be too careful

I too keep an eye on tham. The only thing that are making a bit nervous is the fact that my Nitecore D2 have a little, just a little of burnt smell, it's a electrical burnt smell. There's no noise and the baterrys are in normal temperature. The charger is not too hot. I only can smell when I am too close to the charger, like 5cm btw the charger and my nose, haha!

If it's charging the batteries and functioning correctly I wouldn't worry too much it could be a smell on the charger from manufacturing/assembly of the internal components

Most manuacturers recommend half a C to 1C charging rate, and a charging time of less than 3 hours, for their lithium batteries.
That mean the charging mA must be limited according to the capacity(mAh) of the batteries.
1C of a 1000mAh is 1000mA and it will take 1 hour + ~2% of an hour to charge it at that rate.
0.5C of 1000mAh is 500mA and it will take 2 hours + ~2% of 2 hours to charge.
If you charge your 2500mAh batteries at a rate of 300mA, or even 500mA, it will take longer than the recommended charging time and may affect the batteries life.
Select the appropriate mA, according to your batteries capacity, to keep the charging time below 3 hours.
If you can't do that with your charger, upgrade to a better one.
