or installation (heating) can not damage the batteries?
Recently I used this on my batteries, and installation took approximately 30 sec for each battery with a hairdryer. Few times didn't sucess with first attempt, so had to re-process the same battery a couple of times. After the process noticed that the battery is quite warm.
I wondered - or heating with hairdryer can not damage the batteries?

Nope, there's no way you'll get them hot enough with a hairdryer. The shrink wrap would melt before you generated enough heat to harm your cells.

Theoretically you shouldn't damage cells with short duration heat.
My experience tells me that of the two Samsung 25r cells that crapped out on me both had been re-wrapped using a hair dryer. It's never happened to me with a cell that wasn't re-wrapped.
They didn't melt, explode or vent. They just both started not holding a charge.
Could be coincidence or bad luck....
I've re-wrapped a lot of cells and only had a problem twice.
Make of that what you will.
More sense than money.....

Shrink temperature start at ~70°C and is shrunk totally at ~120°C.
For batteries applications, the heat exposure time must be keept at its minimum.
Recommended temperature for shrinking is 100 to 120°C.
Using a < 70°C heat source (hairdrier) will work, but you will have to apply it for too long.
If you dont have a suitable hot air gun you can use a lighter or a candle.
It is much like cooking a steak on a very hot plate.
When the outer is well done, the inner is'nt cooked at all.

I use a butane torch. Its very quick, too quick to transfer to the battery. Kind of how a high wattage iron is sometimes better for soldering so the heat hasn't time to transfer to other components. YMMV

As long as you can touch the metal comfortably, it's under 70C, hence safe for the batteries. Note that the wrap itself insulates the metal can of the battery from the warm air.

I use a heat gun that gets about 450F, I think. Takes about 2 seconds on each end and then I sweep it over the mid part a few seconds. I think I've had some come off of the charger warmer than they were after wrapping them.
