Shrink to 16340 size?
As it says...

I know I can go buy 16340 wrap elsewhere, but wondering if these would shrink that far down?

Basically, the top washer area is just coming off. Dropped the battery once and the wrap cracked just below the washer. Just some tape holding it on now.

Tape is fugly..


(No, the washer ain't burnt. Just old/dirty.)

It should. Check a battery end with wrap and see how far it shrinks over the end. That should indicate how much it shrinks.

I figure it would be close enough, especially if I double-wrap 'em. I have two matched sets of these and they go in just one mod; the Buzz Pro. A tube mod with plenty of room, so fit isn't an issue.

I'm buying some of these wraps anyways for my other 18xxx batteries, but I'd hate to buy extra 16340 wrap just for one oddball battery if I don't have to. :)

On some Samsung batteries, the smallest diameter on the end is 12mm, so you have plenty shrink in the wrap. I unwrapped them and removed the protection circuit for power bank use - they were double wrapped and didn't fit well in the case.
