Sup allSo i got this at the start of the week and i was using the .5ohm atomizer with it and it was working fine for well 3 days with no trouble and grate vape, then it started spitting at me (quite a bit of liquid) which i thought was weird. I changed volts and stuff to see if that would help (which it didn't) even tought i was doing it to tight. Then tried the 1.5 atty that was there and that still spits (more so then the .5). Ive spent ages on Google looking for something with no luck.. is there anyone whos been able to fix this? (Ive also tried using the rba as well) i really like the subox but i cant use if it its spitting at me.Oh and did anyone else get .6ohm and 1.4ohm read out from their atomizer that came with it? Thanks

Did you change to a higher PG juice? That can cause flooding if it is not wicked for it! Regardless, the wick should be tight within the coil to prevent popping and spitting in the RBA+ when you start using it.

Ive got high vg 80% atm.. ill try adding more wick in the rba as i have read that that will help but when i get more liquid (ive almost ran out).. guess it was the coil then with the .5ohm when that started spitting after a few days use. Thanks for the help guys :) ill let you know if its fixed soon

Hey all, i think i have solved my spitting issue with the subtank, using the RBA that came with it, ive found this build to be quite handy its called the funnel build i guess http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAdDvbE6SJA

Hmmm! It looks effective! It looks much like the way I wicked duel 3 mm spaced vertical titanium coils by default in one of my STMs, which seems to have unlimited wattage capability within my D2s range. I did put a tight wick inside the coils feathering the top and bottom to the juice holes. The coils are in series as well, which gives me around a .52 ohms resistance.

It maybe complicated to some, but I find it fun to try things like that!

Correction: on decimal point! typo!

I believe having the wick tight inside of the coils will eliminate the spitting, but you must make it so that the juice flow is excellent to prevent dry hits while preventing leaking!

+1 details
Try and clean the contacts between the RBA and the base! I found that even a small amount of contamination between the two can cause this! After cleaning the contacts tighten the RBA+ base down hard and hope the brass pin in the base is not too shallow. I have heard if that is an issue, you can knock the pin in a bit to make better contact.

I once had a salt form from different cleaning solutions, that I couldn't see between the base and the RBA+, until it completely dried out!

0.0 Ohms can indicate a direct short on some mods! If that is the case, cleaning would then again be the most likely solution.
