Vape
So, I know that to achieve a target resistence with SS wire you need to use almost the double number ow wraps compared to kanthal a1 wire. SS will give a cooler vape if I am not mistaken. I like a cooler vape, but if I want a hot vape, can I get it with this 24 awg SS wire? I will need more power, will 75W be enough? I never vapes mode than 25W haha... Just curious.

It should be fine, but buy some thinner wire too ;-)

75W to a single coil of 24AWG SS wire would still be plenty hot as long as you don't have too much wire (mass) to heat up, which you would notice via a ridiculously slow ramp up time.

Basically 75W to a single coil would generally be plenty warm. The more you spread that power around and/or add more airflow, the more you cool down the vape.

I see.
10 wraps of 24 awg SS will be 0.5 ohms. Isn't 10 wraps too much? Will it have a ridiculous ramp up time? If not, what kind of coil(s) will result in a ridiculous ramp up time?
Sorry about all the silly questions, I am kinda new to sub ohm and thicker wire.
If I use the same wire to make a dual coil of the same resistence (0.5) I would need to make each coil with 20 wraps, which is insane! If I go to 0.3 each coil need to have 12 wraps.

You'll,also need good cutters for 24g SS

I have been using 28g SS and prefer that over the 24/26g

Edit

I found the ramp up time slower with the thicker. I have been doing 5 wrap spaced dual coil builds and it's pretty good. It's coming out to about 0.3. I can use this on TC or vv/vw.

There's lots of SS nr-r-nr wires now. The list of nr-r-nr wires here is rather impressive .

If you like 24awg Kanthal, for example, and you want to build similar coils with SS, buy one gauge thinner.
So you would buy 26awg SS. It works out to roughly the same wraps for the same resistance as your 24awg kanthal.

I never used 24 and 26 awg kanthal, only 28.
I am curious with SS because it's said to give a more cleaner and cooler vape. That's why I thought about 24 awg instead of 26...
