Well.. I do not own a battery charger since the one i had got really hot and stopped working a few months ago. Im thinking of buying a new one but i anyways dont think i should be ok with a "quality" mod breaking and loose one of it's most vital functions after just 10 days usage. I have some older isticks with fixed batteries and other mods with usb port and all of them still have a functioning usb-port. Its easy to be disappointed when something you thought was great and waited a month for broke more or less when you got it.

We have had about 5 of the istick 30watts and each one worked for a year +.
Had, I think 3 of the 20watt isticks before that and both worked for a year +

Had 3 of the istick 50 watts and they were all dead within 3 months of usage.

This pico felt cheap to me from the first moment.
I felt more confident about the 30 watt isticks than this but trying to find a cheap mod that does ss in tc well is difficult.

But if it didnt work here after 10 days, open a ticket with CS and work towards an exchange.

(*~*) Was bored to death.. RIP :)

I'm just kidding, I don't own this device. I do own a lot of mods but this isn't one of them. I need at least 65w to be satisfying. Hope you get a replacement or just buy a charger. I never use on board charging. Not for any reason other than I have a nitecore d4h

Edit: just saw that it is 75w. Still single battery won't cut it for me. Cuboid for life.

I was so pleased with mine (and a bunch of other Eleaf mods) that I've got a second in the mail...really liked the silver. Hey, it's one way to deal with a potential breakdown. Seriously, you should consider a decent charger. Heard too many people say it's better for a number of reasons to charge your batteries externally. One good thing about a FastTech purchase...you should get it replaced. Good luck anyway!

PS: Hits hard and fast. I've been running my Moonshot on it at 50W. Performs and looks great.

Which model has a nice tactile finish? I'm thinking of picking one up as my first apv. Are the screws T6 torx?

They are too cheap to miss out on. 10% off is about $30 AUD.

The two earlier isticks 20/30w i own still works fine even if their built in battery is worn out. But i will buy something more expensive next time. Im thinking of buying something from kanger or joytech. I do not need 200w, anything 60+ watts is ok for me. Any advice?

Vtc mini. With the upcoming sale it will only be $35. I have 2. Both are from when they first came out. My only issue is needing to glue a magnet back in a couple weeks ago with some super glue. I don't own any Kanger box mods.

I have also a istick tc 60w that looks and feels kinda "stylish" compared to the earlier isticks and the pico but that one also has a usb problem since it seems to "destroy" usb cables. At least 4 usb cables i used for it dont work for charging it anymore. Very strange. Yes there is something about the pico that makes it feel cheap besides the crappy usb port. It feels sturdy but maybe it is its overall design that makes it look and feel dated.

If i buy a charger which should i buy? It was a while ago i was shopping for one. I guess i should buy a nitecore, or? I have only 18650 batteries but if not necessary if it can charge different sizes at the same time that would be nice.
I would prefer 4 battery slots but 2 is ok if that is lots cheaper.

Yeh, this is what you get with the istick. Don't have the solid feel like the Joyetech and Smok devices.

Don't drop it either.

I stayed away from this pico. The battery cap looks crap. Only Istick worth owning is the 40TC and the TC60w. 60w is with removable 18650. I got that one.

I picked the all-black one after all that. I guess I'll see when it gets here. It has things going for it like the size and removable battery - it's not too expensive either $25 usd with 10% off.

I have a charger so won't use the USB.

I hope this influences other manufacturers to build smaller APV's.

I have been remodelling a house all along with the Pico in my back pocket. After we got the roof on while I built the chimney I kept leaving the Pico set on the roof and more than once it slid down the shingles. I have the black/silver version and no paint is missing to date. One tough little box!

No not this kind of chimney:
