A8 5.5" Universal Car HUD Head Up Display w/ OBD II Interface

Apply for cars in line with OBD II or EUOBD,

Now, I do not know what this OBD II interface but the title description would indicate that it does indeed work with that interface and I see no year/make/model exclusions on the product page. That would lead me to believe it does not have exclusions but....you could open a product ticket here and ask for further clarification.

I'm out.....have some fun. Eh?

+3 details
All cars and truck models made after 2008 support the basic OBD II codes.

Not sure you will like HUD devices tho.
They are all hard to see in daylight and get blurred by vibrations.

Also need a mirror like surface that will decrease the field of vision.

Strait to a windshield will show the image twice or more superimposed, as it is made of at least two layers of glass with a clear plastic in between for reinforcement.
Each layers reflect at a slightly different angle.

There are basic HUD apps for cell phones that use gps and accelerometers to calculate your speed that work in same way this unit is meant to. You can give them a shot to simulate how this would reflect off your windshield to see if you'll actually enjoy having a HUD in your car.

I have a similar app that does both the OBDII, and functions as a dash cam from a tablet or cell phone. Works with a Bluetooth OBDII dongle on the vehicles port. Integrates GPS, OBDII and a dashcam.

Functions like a flight data recorder. If the accelerometers sense a collision, the last 5 min of video, GPS and OBDII info is stored, and will show speed, RPM, location, gear, and video.
