Looks nice with ss. I did manage to shorten the tube and delrin piece by about 1mm each and it reduced the gap and isn't autofiring. I will try to remove another 1mm. (Maybe less though, the gap is about 0.6mm now).
Where is your ss tube from?

A bit late but still, here some answers to some questions posed....

What did you receive? Brass or copper?
Copper

Does it work with other attys?
no

Someone has received this item, says very little about it, after it he disappears. :/
Sorry dude, I'm not here every day...

How is the button throw? How does it hit?
It auto fires, but hits well

Am I happy....No I'm not, I'd send this back to them but would cost me as much in postage as I'd get in a refund...

Will I ever use this ??
No, it's not safe to use...

I'll put it in the spares pile and maybe cannibalise it for something else in the future.
Insert smart and witty comment here.....

Great. Which side of the delrin did you reduce? Your brass pin (I have a little doubt that it's brass...) doesn't warm up?

The SS tube comes from an old Paps clone kit.

Ok changed atomiser, (to the KOF) it has a shorter pin, now it's working nicely. with the SS tube. It has a quarter mm gap at the bottom, it doesn't really bother me.

@backhack: great to see you back.

I don't intend to be here all the time either. Only when i start a conversation, trying to follow it. (takes two minutes) Shame that yours doesn't work and you gave up on it completely. The autofiring was the first thing that was easily manageable. But never mind.
...dude.

Galagarry, did you manage to eliminate completely the gap on yours?
I stopped at about a half mm, not sure to continue or not. But the mod has been working great.

I didn't have the time to continue, but it seems you made a real good job of it. My take on it was that as long as you took pig the same thing from the tube as from the spring/felt in part, everything is fine!

Wow, didn't see that autocorrect going. But I guess it's too good to edit... Well, I still wish anyone interested to take pig from the tube. Or the spring, I'm not judging.
Also *spring/delrin.

@galagarry. Do you mean pin from the tube? Pig to the best of my knowledge isn't part of this mod and if it was in that tube it would come out a pork hotdog or something much worse.

Yeah, I meant taking off as much height from the resin inner tube as from the spring/delrin contact part.
If you just shorten the tube, you get an autofiring mod. Just from the contact part is not enough to get rid of the gap.
