it's 3.

2pcs/pack / 3*26/36 AWG / 3*0.4mm/0.12mm dia. / 0.1ohm / w/ cotton

You're not thinking clearly. It's three cores รก .4mm wrapped in .12mm wire, i.e. 3x26AWG wrapped in 36AWG.

+1 details
I would say 2.72 mm: 4mm - 0.4mm - 0.4mm - 4*0.12mm
We can't agree on everything.

In the past I almost gave up on pre-wound coils mainly because a few years ago most atomizers (at least mine) seemed to have smaller decks not so suited to 3mm or greater diameters. By now it seems many attys easily accept 3 to 3 1/2mm coils to the point where, when I hear multiple posters rave about a new pre-wound I'm more apt to give it a try.

Also, I really enjoy (most of the time) experimenting and building my own as well as the extra bucks I save by doing so. Don't so much mind spending around $3 bucks for 10 coils but about a buck apiece does make me think twice. And just this morning I saw one dealer (upscale?) offering pairs (2) of triple-fused, quad-core, super-duper (ok...I'm laying it on a bit heavy) for $12 to $15 (those prices are no exageration), I'd really have to take those babies for an extended test vape!

Hi guys, what is the diameter of these coils? Is it really 2.72mm? Just seems like a weird number

They are 3mm coils for anyone else wondering. The packaging has updated and it says it on the front now.
