Anybody remember the "Kick" modules from 5 years ago?
My first mech I ever bought from FastTech was a Nemesis which I got with a "15 watt" kick module and a Kayfun clone.
This totally reminds me of that scene although worlds better. Me like! I wonder if anybody still uses their Kicks, LOL.
NO political correctness......

I haven't used them in a while but I did use them a lot mounted in a Kato. It was the first regulated side by side :) Someone on here figured out how to mount it. I want to say it was JessVapin but I could be wrong.

The evolv kick 2 was noticeably better than everything else btw. Instantaneous fire, went down to 0.5 ohm and delivered the full 15 watts :)

If I'm ignoring you it's because you're fallacy impaired. Here's hoping you rectify your problem so that we might have a sensible conversation.

The kicks were and still are a brilliant addition to a tubular mech and one is still available . If you like to vape mtl with say 1.2-1.8 ohm then a kick is your setable option. I still use one in my old mechs. Nemesis, GP and caravella etc.

Typically, they have a 6amp limit, (at lest the Evolv ones do).
So you need to use them with coils above 1 ohm, & above 2 ohms is better.
They hark from an era when 1.5 ohms was considered very low, & anything below 1 ohm was considered down & out dodgy.
Finding a mech long enough, so you can use a 18650 with a kick is problematical, (hint, hint, Mr Fastech).
Advantages;
1) Low voltage cut off
2) 10 sec cut off
3) Constant wattage/voltage
4) Short circuit protection
Disadvantages;
1) No reverse battery protection, (usually fried the Evolv ones).
2) 6amp/15watt/6volt limits
