that's the exact reason that i bought the fiera. If you're into dual coils then 21700s are definitely worth it, personally i'm more into single coils around the 0.2 ohm region, and i think that 18650s (sony VTC5a, molicell P26a) are more than adequate.

i'd said from the word go that it'd be nice to have a variety of metals, and they've delivered! with a prettier design too!

off topic, but seeing as we all seem to be side fire mech fiends in this thread, has anyone else noticed the purge slim piece (18650) clones popping up on ebay? i was going to pick one up until i saw the animal, i still might, but honestly the animal appeals to me a lot more. FT will probably have them at a lower price before long anyway.

I do have a sLim piece clone that you speak of. Also a very nice performing mod!
One issue on the clone though, the paint is absolute shit sadly. Im going to strip it eventually and give it the paint job it really deserves. =)

Same here, single coil around point two. I think I'm over the 21700 battery for now. It was just a new battery that I had never hard of when I recently got back into vaping and seemed exciting. But I'm here cause I like the smallest mods possible and the 21700 seems to be significantly bigger in that regard. If they do come out with a 21700 MiniB I prob will buy it for home use and what not and to test out some 21700 batts.

What is the length on the Slim Purge?

nice! unfortunately shitty paint is to be expected :/ my main issue with the slim piece is that the switch operates so low down, the fact that with the animal they've moved it even closer to the top is a big plus in my book.

the fiera basically was the 21700 version, the only real change was the battery screw. don't worry though, i'm sure bestia will be coming out with a new 21700 mod in the near future.

the slim piece is 78mm long and 25mm in diameter, bestia definitely has the upper hand when it comes to compactness.

I wish they would come out with an aliuy miniB. The mkniB is my favorite mod. The switch is perfectand the mod just has a unique look. The animal I don't like the placement of the switch.

If you like using your larger battery j3oomerang and dont mind a mosfet take a look at the Stratum 0. Not only is it the lightest 21700 tube out there(as far as i know)but it comes with 2 top caps and 2 tail caps for a variety of attys and cell sizes. Its damn nice for the $25 or whatever they're charging for the YFTK now. And I'll tell you it feels a lot smaller in your hand than what you're probably imagining. I was pleasantly surprised.

Speaking of switches, the sLim is not too bad after awhile i am used to it. My press is about where the G is in the bar. I wished they would have threaded the top so the user could flip the top and tail caps( of course re-engineering would be required) if they wanted to fire higher up on the tube. Missed opportunity imo.

In comparison with the animal...make no mistake, this mods throw is not feather light. It takes a firm press. If i was to change anything on this mods switch it would be to have cut the bar out further down the tube. Keep switch where it is, just continue the cuts lower another 5mm or more to lighten the throw. Its too short of a bar to be a light press no matter what. Longer would've been better imo. The throw on the sLim is actually lighter.

that's kinda odd about the stiff switch jess. you'd know for sure since you have all 3 mods to hand, but it doesn't look like a shorter bar/cutout than the mini B or fiera, and they both have rather light switches (which is one reason i've never felt happy pocket carrying them)

This will not fire on accident in a pocket for sure. I suppose you could bent it in a bit more for a light tap fire, but as it is, flush with the body, its a firm press.
Could be the width contributing to the firmness too. The sLim cutout is a bit narrower. Not sure. But its definitely firm. Maybe my big thumb is the issue lol.
Im pressing right on or a fraction below the B engraving. If i fire higher i catch some of the tube body and its not only an even more firm experience but uncomfortable on thumb.
Other Bestia bars are thinner too. The switch cap/cover is beefy but metal tubes bars are thinner on those.
Very small niggle but thats only thing id day could be improved.
