My SWAG II after 15 months of use

the thread of the battery cap is completly worn out, i have to use a rubber band to keep it pressed. Exactly the same problem i had with the Istck Pico 75W.
I do not trust anymore these caps. I don't think there are with bayonet style so i am looking for a new reliable mod with cover instead of cap. Any suggestion?

The Dovpo College is an SBS with a bayonet style cap, but it's a DNA60 mod so it isn't cheap.

To be honest it looks like you've had a lot of use out of that mod, and 15 months constant use from a budget mod isn't too bad. At $32 I'd buy another but try to be careful not to cross thread the cap - but if you want to avoid screw in caps I would go for a Hugo Vapor URUS - magnetic door, plastic shell and 21700/20700/18650 capability for under $30..

I strongly recommend you avoid the Rigel. I've had two fail entirely with lite usage within a month ...amongst other issues such as the infinitely small battery meter that is nearly impossible to read.

For a single battery I am using a Drag X and a Aegis Solo. Both are extremely solid and feel great but I prefer the Drag X and for the same reasons... the batter compartment on the Solo is screw on and a pain at times.

Thanks for the suggestions, I ordered the Vapor Storm Puma Baby 80W that I found locally at a good price.
I also fixed the cap for the moment bending it a bit with pliers; I'll see if it lasts

Meanwhile, I have man many many Picos (75W and others) that are 3-6 years old, as well as Swag and Swag II mods that are 1-3 years old, and all the battery caps are fine. We call your problem "user error". Learn how to screw on/off chinese battery caps properly and your caps will last longer.
Vaper buys pod system, asks for a 510 adapter. LOL for days

Ok, tell me how. I do not tighten the cap too much, i stop when it see that it makes the contact and the box turns on. The problem could be that i change battery more times during the day because when the batteries get old they do not keep the charge like new ones.
But if i had to buy new batteries every year and throw away old ones to make it last a bit longer i would spend even more.
I have heard other people having the problem with the cap on the Pico 75W and also other Eleaf models so it's not "my problem"
You have many Picos that are 3-6 y.o. and still work because you do not use them. The fact that you have many is the proof; you wouldn't be able to use them simoultaneusly and together with the other boxes you have because you have one mouth only. It's very easy to preserve things not using them.
So you don't have to reveal the secret, it's here: buy ten, alternate them and they will last 10 years :D
