Battery door fail
The one big magnet on the battery door is crazy strong. So much so that it has already over powered the glue that keeps it in place and now now the battery door will not stay on. I’ve only had this for six days and now need to run to the hardware store for glue. I’m in the US and would like to know if anyone could recommend a type of glue/epoxy for metal on metal? Thanks

Make sure you put magnet in correct way or will be a pain to remove again.

Mark side that attracts other magnet with a felt pen, do not mark where you put glue.

Also make sure to remove any old glue and prep booth surfaces with acetone/finger nail polish remover, for best adhesion.

--Goop doesn't adhere on contact which is an advantage when the magnet has to fit into a tight slot. It'll let you press it in without it getting stuck in an unfortunate position and if it's been installed upside down you can take it out and do it again. Then when it's dried a bit you can simply rub off all the residue that's smeared out.

Cures in a day, then it's quite a good seal.

Ditto for me, came off on the second day...Its an obvious design fail and I am claiming warranty. Used super glue in the interim and I feel that eventually, that would give away too.

Any suggestions for the door rattle? Its otherwise a decent product.

Something like 3M Super 61 or better still Super 77, that you apply to both surfaces and press them together when the glue becomes aggressively tacky, is probably going to be your best bet.
If I'm ignoring you it's because you're fallacy impaired. Here's hoping you rectify your problem so that we might have a sensible conversation.

Update: the crazy glue seems to be holding it in place for now. Also, I put a strip of electrical tape over the magnet on battery door and Also on the contact point on mod itself. This seems to help buffer some of the magnet strength, and helped with door rattle as an added bonus. Wrote Mechlyfe costumer service and awaiting response.

If someone tries my suggestion they should do a little test first. The stuff goes on wet and becomes aggressively tacky in a couple of minutes but that window is quite short before it hardens. Give it a minute or two and then start touching your finger to it. It will feel wet until it starts to get sticky. Give it a bit more time and it will become very sticky (aggressively tack) and that's when you press the two pieces together.
