510 Connection
Am I missing parts?

I thought the mod came with a connector for the 510 that would allow using any atomizer that would fit the mod. My package has the '510 heightener' but no actual connector to screw a standard atomizer into?

Isn;t the inside of the 510 heightener threaded? I was under the impression that it was a 510 connector once attached. It is normal for there to be a gap around it once fitted - but that will be covered if you fit the cage.

The problem was not that the heightened is threaded, I didn’t see where to screw it into. You have to unscrew the adapter that is in place. That will reveal the threads for the 510 connection.

You unscrew the contact plate for Boro tank and there you have the 510 connector.

To make it work as a classic SBS mod you add the included 510 extend plate, basically a finned heat sink for atomizers, and the included top part with a slanted side.

Once you have unscrewed and removed the insert to turn it into a regular 510, The 510 extender should screw directly into the mod 510.

look at Fasttech's final photo, OP...see the spring-loaded positive pin assembly, where your Boro sits? Simply use tweezers to remove it, revealing the 510. The "510 heightener" is not necessary for all applications - just use the 510 you just revealed!
