That doesn't make it a "fake mod". It makes it a mod that doesn't have boost, which seems to be too common with voopoo. While I agree that this sucks, it doesn't make it "fake" or "not real". It does however put it in the "shitty mod" category.......................XD.

BTW: If that doesn't piss you off enough, you won't likely even get 4.2v output on a fully charged battery with this mod when you take into consideration voltage drop and sag. You'll be lucky to get 4v. 3.8 to 3.9 on a fully charged battery will likely be more realistic. This will depend on the battery and the load.

Vaper buys pod system, asks for a 510 adapter. LOL for days

And to be fair to owners of this mod and others, IF you are happy with stock coils and recommended wattages, 4 volts will be all you ever need...though builders will want another volt or two, I'm sure. 95% of my rdas are within 3.8-4.4 volts,

I've found over the years that higher resistance builds do require higher voltage, while many of my dual coil, low resistance atties are under 4 volts slightly, and don't need any extra "push".

Of course preferences are different, but a good vape is a good vape. I've always found it easier to dial in atomizer wattage by using voltage first, like you're hitting a mech mod with a fresh battery.

It's actually a very nice mod for the money if you don't need higher voltage. I vape 1ohm coils at 10-12w so for me it works just fine.

That's right, and it will be fine for most (hence the maunfacturer's motivation), though If you were to keep that 1 ohm resistance, BUT bump your wattage up 4 watts - you will have this mod maxed out. That's right, 1.0 ohm at 16 watts is 4 volts....

Yeah, this is not intended for the hobbyist. I would not have not even noticed this mod if this silly thread hadn't been posted.
My guess is the OP is parroting some obnoxious YT reviewer since this is geared towards the stock coil crowd. Many of the mesh coils are not intended to be fired above 3.6v.
