Stainless Steel
My Cabeo has two colors, the top cap is darker than the rest.
Was there a different steel used?

+1 details
Possibly. But it's not unknown for separate bits of a mod or atty to come from different machine shops or companies. Perhaps that's the case here.
It's twelve inches long, but don't use it as a rule...

That would be an option. Technically it is flawless, only the color difference is annoying.

Could be a difference in the metals finishing as well. It doesn't take much difference in a sand papers grit to have an end result that can look different when two parts are right next to each other, as an example.

I haven't had this on any clone before, and I have a few.
To me it looks like different types of steel were used.
The base is high-gloss, the top cap is matt gray.
The worst clone so far.

That sucks, mine isn't in that state. It could be as simple a thing as the finish milling pass was made in the opposite direction as the other cap part.

A drill a few plumbing bushing, a bolt, nut and some sand paper could dress it up I might imagine if you might be so inclined.
I don't know if I'd stress it with a clone but I have done similar previously. Usually to remove false representation.

A 510 adapter could do the same with the complete atomizer so it has an even finish as long as the metals of the different parts are the same, that is.

What ever happened to the "Yes it's a clone" vape bands anyway?

I ordered a second one and I hope it's better.
