Leaking gasket

Anyone else have this problem? Main large white oring/gasket at base of clear tank seeps eliquid. Put a wrap of PTFE tape under the gasket, it stopped the seeping but expanded the tank a bit so now door doesn't sit quite right, rocks slightly. Good flavour n air flow though.

Av no had that problem with mine, even although it's not the tightest fitting tank

I had it sittin on a Supbox with the 510 connector, no downward pressure on the tank like on a BB or that type
(pic's in the BB,Supbox,Delro etc. thread in Vapers)

might be worth buyin a spare set of O rings, see if it makes the difference

I've had bad, ill fittin, O rings on brand new products before

Hope you get it sorted, it's a very good rba, imo

I have one on the way, so haven't actually tried it yet - but I did see that you can order the authentic gaskets directly off Mission's site for like $6. Could be worth a try.

I find the opposite to be true, I had weeping from my EVL Alien at the seam, and found success with the Supbox, Because of the extra downward pressure I could apply by tightening the battery cap. In Billets, I get weeping, but in the Supbox, having the ability to "fine tune" the downward pressure is great!

Of course, you may not have a Supbox to try...so yeah, I'd check on another set of gaskets...they are the number one cause of leaking in all devices, and though it may "look fine" to you, it's definitely worth a swap out!

Also, with the EVL Alien, the PEI and PMMA tanks have slight size differences...so you could try another tank altogether - it may just do the trick!

thanks for the replies, just sticking with the P.T.F.E. tape for now, no more leaking apart from the usual condensation,now for a decent integrated drip tip

I had the same issue with it leaking/weeping from the tank section. No matter what Oring I used it leaked somewhere. Just took some thread and wrapped it around the base and under the gasket. it makes getting the tank off a little harder and buldges out a smidge. but at least it doesn't leak

Yep mine leaks too. So annoying. Idk if the gasket is too small or the tank is too thin. Sxk really screwed the pooch on this one. I'm wondering if an authentic tank or gasket would make a difference. Using ptcg tape in the meantime, still leaks but not as bad.

Mine leaks too. A real pain in the arse! I think it’s a combination of the gasket being not thick enough, and not fitting tightly enough, and the front and back walls of the tank being too thin.

I know how to solve the weeping/leaking issue!!! EVERYONE listen up ..................................................... buy a real one lol!!!

I purchased from xx and i don't get any leaking but its real tight in all my billet boxes. But the main problem for me is the gurgling. Im s mtl vaper and i think i know how to wick, but no matter what I do i still get gurgling wich annoys the hell out of me. If your looking for something similar just spring for the BP MODS pioneer insider. Its authentic and way better.
