The 217 does not have boost ?!

No I didn't. I have also owned 2 of the Vaporesso GEN's one of which I still use daily so I am very familiar with the modes. I purchased the SWAG as I was so pleased with the GEN but at least in my case it was quite inferior.

Leaning in that direction as I do replace my batteries yearly and they all do well in other mods. Besides Gatok, I believe there was a 3rd buyer of them from here with the same issue, if i recall correctly.
