I have the same issue as you, still me, when battery is 30%. But I also have noticed that it lasts as long as any other 18650 mod. I assume there's a wrong reading.

Why? Because they carry over the chips from their pods, which they make coils for, and those coils are always low ohmage.

The 217 does not have boost ?!

Yes it does have boost. 7.5v max output voltage.

I prefer the previous version SKU 9724426. At least it has boost and is smaller.

The Kroma 217 has boost. You even proved it yourself here. Since the Kroma 217 is a single battery mod, it could never achieve 7.5v without boost.

Ah ok. Funnily enough when speaking of the Swag 2 it felt to me as a mech mod would at a certain point. Hence, thought that it was without this magical boost you all speak of.Only up at 85% battery power did I feel it had real power. Rest of the time I just was unable to feel the power when vaping on it.So guess it was just a faulty chip?!

No faulty chip but lack of boost.

Wrong again. Swag II (and even Swag I for that matter) has boost. See proof here. Still.Me most likely had the mod in smart or eco mode.

No I didn't.

I have also owned 2 of the Vaporesso GEN's one of which I still use daily so I am very familiar with the modes.
I purchased the SWAG as I was so pleased with the GEN but at least in my case it was quite inferior.

Those were the specs for Kroma R.

Specs for 217:

Anyway, dear Vapeluvr, can you get me out of a doubt?

Does the old Pico 75w have boost?

Thanks.

You were a bit quick to criticise there Vapeluvr.

Still.me stated she had a problem with the mods power output deteriorating when the battery still had plenty of charge - if the Pico has boost its a pity the manufacturer didn't bother listing it in the specs which would rule out lack of voltage boost as the root cause of the problem. It could be she is using a very tired battery or she has a faulty mod.

And the specs Gatok listed were clearly for an 18650 mod - not the Kroma R.

I found out last night from asking a Vape Store owner about the 217 - he tried it out and reported back that it does have up to 7.5V as you stated. But its crap when you have to check with someone who already owns a mod to ask for information that should be listed on the specs. The alternative is pay your money and hope for the best.

Leaning in that direction as I do replace my batteries yearly and they all do well in other mods.

Besides Gatok, I believe there was a 3rd buyer of them from here with the same issue, if i recall correctly.

From 28% to nothing in only 8 puffs.

Despite that I still love this mod.

Tell me one thing guys.
Why they almost never list what is the voltage output range of the mods?
No matter if it has a boost chip or it has potato instead of it, I almost every time needed to do some research, youtube, reddit, fasttech forum you name it. Sometimes (most of the time really) even the official site hasn't include voltage output among the specs (nor max current output).
And again no matter if it can do 8V while operating with a single 18650, they doesn't list it...
Yeah, sure I am interested in charge current and dimensions... oh and that it has an X inch tft colour display while I browsing the specs.

ps.: and wtf is inch anyway
pps. ps was sarcas

high internal resistance will produce unfavorable results even at 16W. The sag is horrendous even in 1+ ohm.
