Not a Safe 510 pin
From watching a YouTube review. Apparently the 510 pin is not Hybid Mechanical Safe. It doesn't stick out very far and it is dependable. That could cause a dead 'Short' across the battery. Causing battery damage, venting, or explosion with resulting loss of teeth or possibly death.

Just put a small o-ring under the pin.

I can only imagine this monstrosity on one of SteamCrave's 30mm plus regulated mods, but folks will try anything, I suppose.

According to SteamCrave, the pump AND the RDA were designed with protruding 510 pins, so I don't know if the YT reviewer is being overly cautious, or what....just keep the above tip about O-rings in mind if your pin doesn't protrude enough for your liking...

There are 2 pins included, BF and non BF, so there's that...

I recommend a normal squonk mod, but I guess this could appeal to some, in a "gimmicky" kind of way -- it definitely would have to be a "coffee table" mod, for sure!

Or I can imagine that as with some of these things in the past (the Aleader ones, already discontinued) that the pin would protrude only when screwing down an atty (with a protruding pin of course) on it. As it might have some sort of floating pin.

That's a good point, Cilika! Yes, I own a few of those, and indeed the atty being screwed on would cause the "middle device's" pin to be pushed down, giving more protrusion.

Not saying that's the case here, but it's a thought...

I haven't got the slightest clue about this one Carrion. :))
On the stock photos, anyway, the pin protrudes. That's fairly enough for safety. I know that there are peeps out there who are only happy and feel safe if they see at least a millimetre there =)

Well, I watched (partially) a couple of vids about this (just for to see the pin) It's absolutely fine for hybrid use.

If someone has doubts with that length, it's simply better to avoid any mech mods =)

Ohh, and the pin isn't adjustable. (after one vid) So, IF EVER it wouldn't protrude enough, the o-ring trick would always work.
