I never heard of that brand and know nothing about Osram LEDs. Can't help you with that. Couldn't find any reviews on it either.

This is my flashlight. It's hi-mid-lo modes, and will start at whatever setting you used last. I have no doubt about it being a thousand lumens on high it is brighter than any household lighting. It uses one 18650 battery to power it.

We had a Boxing Day Event here some years ago and items were featured that if you were lucky enough to be the first of a set number available you could get a good deal on that item. I kind of knew a lot of people would be going for a fancy mod they had up but I saw this flashlight and wanted it. I'd never had anything but cheap run-of-the-mill flashlights.

The site (either that or my computer) crashed when I clicked though I clicked the moment the event began. I believed I'd lost out on it but when FT tech guy geek published the names of the winners for the limited supply of products (for an extreme deal) my name was on it. I also had about $13+ in rebate points which were converted for me so iirc I ended up only having to pay a couple dollars for this between the deal and the rebate points.

Edit - whoa, I just now noticed my flashlight has been discontinued sadly. It is an awesome flashlight.

Never needed a flashlight but heard what i thought was a coyote right near us, somewhere yesterday at 5am.
Pup was spooked and ran right back to the door.
