Hello shriley, and welcome to the forum.

I used to be active here in product discussions and such, but have since left and refuse to spend my money here first because of the lack of interest on Fasttech's part to properly moderate the forum.

Other members posting pornography, attacks by way of verbal abuse, private info used against other members, closing of long standing threads by staff because it's "easy" then walking away, and a few other situations where Fasttech themselves do absolutely nothing in the way of controlling the forum have pushed me out of participating here.

So, I have some questions for you, and these are based on the assumption that you're working for Fasttech as an employee assigned to forum specific relations.
...Your title is a little confusing in a sense...

Have you been sent into the forum to monitor the conversations and behavior of members?

Do you have any real power to ban, close accounts, locate origins of members posting spam, or otherwise in some way control the content of users in this forum?
Has Fasttech implemented ANY sort of solution to the negative or otherwise unwanted behavior by forum users in a way that's fair to others that are innocent of said behavior?

Or is your presence here just another Band-Aid on a wound needing real surgery?
And by that statement I mean no disrespect to you personally shriley.

I just believe a lot of members are wondering some of the things I've just stated and if your presence is for the purpose of actually getting this forum back to a place where people can come to enjoy themselves and discuss topics on the items your selling, invest their personal time in creating an informational and/or fun thread and such without fear of getting a thread attacked, closed for no good reason, or worse, attacked themselves by others with no help from staff.
Ultimately Fasttech has a lot to lose, members do not. Members will just leave, and buy from other vendors. Is this simple fact not talked about internally?
Reinvestment is needed on the behalf of Fasttech. We've done our part...

So my objective here is that if you're truly here for real forum work let us all know and let's get started off in the right direction. ...Which would be nice. =)
Or, based off your response,(or lack thereof) members can just ignore your presence and continue on in the direction of this forum becoming nonexistent.
Either way at least it'll be known...and everyone can continue on. Or not.
I'll be in and out.

It's just another fake account Jess.

Ask airwinny how easy it is to change a title as his example above shows. I'm surprised he didn't mention it was a fake in his comment here which was posted 3 minutes after his post in another thread.

I'm enjoying this new forum function of being able to adjust member's titles. Was that your first order of business? If so, well done!

Maybe you are being kept out of the loop at the other place...

Lol, sometimes your detective work is truly astounding. Clueless, but astounding.

You can change the member's title in the ignore script, only for you to see.
Shriley's title is obviously staff appointed, as it's for all to see.

But hey, it's the FastTech forum, so let's not let facts get in the way of a good ol' narrative.

You could do it in Photoshop and then have it show up as your picture.

Dont hold me to this but i seem to remember Pafapaf once doing something along those lines?
Could be wrong, could be remembering something incorrectly....

**member would still show up at the bottom but with the right term beforehand it could work..

Is this a "collective decision making process" back at discord on what todays spiffing wheeze is going to be......

if so you need to up your game...... cos you are failing miserably.

Nope. "Member" isn't part of the picture.

Correct!

Jess made a great post. Sad to see yet another ludicrous narrative is dumped onto the same page, instead of seeing a forum come together in agreement with Jess' post.

But hey, it's the FT forum, what did I expect?
