Hopefully it supports "speed" charging.

Tbh 2a charges a small bit faster (if the device allows it) but it isnt a guarantee it works with apple/samsung "speed" charging. Idk about apples specs since i dont own one, but Samsung "speed" charge requires a wire that can handle/put out 9v at 1.67 amps vs your standard 5v 1 or 2 amps.

Some modded/custom firmware allow speed charging, it depends on the phone's system too, it doesn't rely on physical cable port, as example I'm using micro usb 2a, and the firmware support speed charging, it doesn't matter for any cables, imo..
