WLToys V911 EC Deklaration of Conformity
Hi, is there a CE declaration of conformity to get the RC model out of the Customs in Europe?

Interested in this also, as I am interested in a V912. Will I actually get it if I order one from FT (to the UK) and what happens if I don't? Can I get a refund?

davie887,

Customers are responsible for customs issues. Customs seizures won't be refunded.

Thank you

So... there is a chance that if I buy an RC heli here it won't be allowed through customs?

Davie, you -will- receive your heli.
Customs will however charge you an import tax (not sure about the english wording here). In Denmark, where I'm from, the import tax itself is reasonably small, however the postage company (danish post) taken £20 in pure administration aswell, just for claiming your money.

So in the end, you will always recieve your goods, but you risk having to pay extra in order to recieve it, should it get picked out by customs. I have ordered from FT many times, and not yet have I encountered this. Fasttech also seem to hide the real commercial value of the package rather well, so the packages are more likely to slip by customs.

Hi Darkprot, it's more the chance that a non CE marked electrical item (falling into the toy category, I guess) might be seized by customs - the import duty doesn't really worry me, though I'd rather not pay that ;)

Thank you, don't forget to tip your waitress.
I won't be here all week.
