Another benefit I see with Grahams is faster wicking. Not only in terms of juice delivery to the coil and less breakin. But, installing the wick itself... Doesn't end up with all the matted clumps that need racking like organic cotton. Even the end with the tight twist, just needs a light fluff and it's ready for placement.

After 100ml or so at 0.1 ohm the wick can be pulled apart, so it's time to rewick.
