Minimal resistance added Looks great Solidly built
Perfect heat sink paired to my black SMPL v2 mod. Useful for atties that don't have a protruding 510 pin.

Спасает в некоторых ситуациях, но верхний пин уходит вглубь при накручивании атома, пришлось укреплять

PROS
It is useful
CONS
It is not magical
It's a nice little shiny bit. Used it to effectively replace my stripped top cap.

I have a few of the Kepler heat sinks, and in truth I feel that these have the edge on quality. The black paint may be the only weak point, but that can easily be removed if the need arises. I use these as thread savers on my regulated mods. I have no idea if they are effective as heat sinks.

The 510 threads are perfect, as are the two adjusting screws. They really are very stable and precise. This is a good product for the price.

Nice quality and machining. Smooth threads and 510 can easily be adjusted.

PROS
Saves the threads on my Abaddon. Very nicely made. Adjusts for both the mod and atty 510. Looks cool.
CONS
Not reverse threaded.
I've reviewed the plain SS version already, so I won't rehash my praises - Take it as read that these are well made, functional, and look great. However, the main reason I feel the need for a further review (other than being a rebate whore) is because of how well this compliments the Abaddon clone sold here. Whilst copper would appear to be the logical choice, the main reason for using one of these is to protect soft threads, and if you are rough on your devices, you're going to need to replace the copper heat sink on a regular basis. However, as the Abaddon (awesome mod by the way, you can polish the logo out if that's getting in the way of a ourchase) has a black insulator and black switch housing, the black Kepler works very well aesthetically, and will be as hard wearing as any SS mod. Throw a full copper Baal on top with its elegant black drip cap, and you have a remarkably sexy - if somewhat blasphemous - combo.

For the sake of a few dollars and a tiny but of added length, these things are a no brainer for copper and aluminium mods. I've ordered the copper as well now (I really should have bought the pack of three) to go on the Kepler SRX carbon fibre in hybrid mode, and expect it to look terribly swish. Rest assured that these are the heat sinks to buy here on FT, and have none of the issues reported with other variants.
