Looks nice, but black paint on threads can cause connection issues

I have these in black, gold and stainless. The gold and stainless work great. The black ones, however, don't provide good connectivity. Other manufacturers of similar 510 nuts do not paint the threads. This manufacturer paints the threads. The paint can be removed (some buffing with an abrasive using a Dremel took the paint off) and I'm getting much better connectivity. While I will be getting more of these style 510 nuts, I'll stick with the stainless and the gold ones.
