PROS
A reasonably decent capacity (if you opt for the 3.5ml non-TPD/TRPR version) Easy top fill Good build quality A choice of two (optional) air-flow inserts Outer air-flow control ring removable (for wiping down) Tank is glass (not plastic) Easy build platform
CONS
No spare tank supplied 510 threading is media-blasted No bubble tank available (at the time of writing) Retail price (in comparison to other China-designed MTL RTAs)
All too often, we see original tanks that come off a designer's page that in practice, and for various reasons, don't work as well as they should. The Gate RTA isn't one of them. As a big advocate of European-designed MTL RTAs, I find this tank competes favourably with them, both on performance and flavour. Whilst it doesn't bring anything new to the MTL table, what it does do, it does very well. The screw-in airflow inserts are proper MTL - 0.8mm & 1mm (though the 1mm feels a little like a 1.1mm or 1.2mm imho). And for those who prefer an airier draw, one can leave the insert out altogether. 0.8mm though, gives a good tight draw, that's infinitely adjustable in combination with the external airflow control ring (which is 95% air-tight btw - another pro in my book). It's claimed that one can change out the airflow inserts on-the-fly without disturbing the coil, though in practice I've found this not to be the case, as it's impossible to catch the threads of the positive block when re-inserting the 510 pin without physically holding down the block. Not a big deal unless you want to constantly swap out the insert. Flavour performance is very good indeed. It's right up there with the European MTL attys. One small issue that irritates, and this has become a common issue with a fair number of attys coming out of China recently, is that the 510 threading is media-basted (I don't know if the SS version is similarly afflicted) . This should not happen. It hasn't caused me any problems in practice, but electrical threading connections should be smooth and clean to aid the best possible connection. Manufacturers please note! As one of the more expensive China-made attys, I would have liked to see a spare glass included in the package. Yes, original Ambition Mods spares are currently available, but I wonder how many buying this tank also purchase a spare glass alongside. In summary, both in flavour and performance, I would place this RTA pretty much in the top tier of the MTL RTA list. It's very definitely a keeper. Recommended.

PROS
Light Sturdy Ideal for Travel Precise
CONS
Large Overt Branding
An accessory such as this should really be on the shopping list for most Vapers. It's a simple concept that suits many different vaping styles, and in this case, does it very well. The outer tube is a stiff durable plastic, protecting the silicone inner-bladder. And unlike some silicone products, this comes clean with no 'new plastic odour' that's likely to taint your e-liquid, though I'd still wash it out before first use. The metal top caps are all machined well, with no 'crunchy' threading, and the entire top assembly appears leak-resistant - certainly, I've had none with mine. Cleaning is very easy, and it's quick and simple to completely disassemble to do so. In fact, the only real complaint I have, and it's a minor one, is the large overt branding on the side of the outer plastic tube. Urgh! Other than that, it holds 30ml (which isn't fantastic, but more than adequate), has a precise nozzle for juice placement (suiting RDA users who paint their wicks), 510 threading under the inner cap (suiting squonkers who haven't gone down the Topside route), and is robust enough for Vapers generally to use as a travel bottle (the silicone should expand enough to prevent leaking in the ever-changing pressurised environment of an aircraft). Overall, a big thumbs-up.

PROS
+ Good looking resin + Nicely machined and polished + Accurately-sized 510 base (no wobble) + Double o-ring fitted, with a pair of spares provided
CONS
For the price, none!
When it comes to drip tips and mouth pieces, size, shape, style and material used is hugely subjective. Tall, short, wide, narrow, metal, glass, resin, plastic, wood, preferences are as diverse as the tips themselves. This is a collection of tips designed for the MTL Vaper in mind, who has a preference for very slim mouth pieces. The product photos don't convey just how slim the stem really is. A comparison with a standard-size tip along side would help convey this I guess. Not one for the cloud-chuckers, that's for sure. The honeycomb resin has been evenly polished, and the dual o-ring 510 base is sufficiently long and wide so as to prevent any wobble when fitted to an atty. A spare pair of o-rings are thoughtfully provided too, which is a nice touch. Did I yet mention just how incredibly slim the stem is? Naturally, the slender size won't suit everyone, but for my lips, this is a seriously comfortable tip to use. Admittedly, it looks a little strange when attached to an atty, even a diminutive 16mm RTA. But that's okay, as I don't mind comfort over style. Overall, a very nice resin drip tip for the price, and one I can recommend to any MTL Vaper, as long as you fully understand how unusually slim the stem is. - - - These comments relate to all the tips in the range - - -
