PROS
v0006 Great presentation, nice box, etc. Battery life Buttons feel amazing, fun to play with Top/bottom metal plate can double as a mirror
CONS
No extra button (could be a pro?) No left/right mode? USB cable is not data cable (from what I've heard)
I bought this item due to it having two 18650 batteries, temperature control and the fact it's in a box shape. I am very happy with the battery life, I have yet to get it below 75% before I charge it (two days or so without charging). I also love the feel of it in my hands, I can't help but play with the fire button (it's ever so slightly moveable). The main frustration I've read with this device is the temperature control and I won't rant on about it but I wanted to give my idea of how it works (until pbusardo figures it out I suppose). I've tested with several different nickel builds and a few kanthal it seems to read about the same. The kanthal testing works but I would not recommend doing it, very random I believe it's expecting nickel and will ramp up too quick. The best I've gotten mine to work is a higher ohm build 0.14 with wattage around 25 (doesn't go passed 40 watts in TC mode) and 420 degrees. I can get my wick bone dry before it starts giving me dry hits, which brings up a good point - this shouldn't be compared to the DNA 40 (or SX mini 350j). SMOK has even said their technology works best with wet wick and will not work with a dry wick. I believe this works best in RTA's rather than RDA's, like I mentioned I only got dry hits after I knew it was dry and continued anyway for testing. A lot of people will say they can do this manually, but I personally would rather have the device do it for me. Even if it's not "as good" as the DNA 40 or similar, it still works great and I would recommend it with an RTA for TC mode otherwise of course wattage mode works wonders. I also enjoyed using the mechanical mode for when I'm building coils or using cartomizers, seems to know the right wattage better than me! Final notes, apparently after CNY they released v0006 which is what I received and they no longer come with an extra button since people were breaking their M80's trying to change the button. I am also a little sad that you cannot change the orientation of the display, I am right handed but prefer using my left hand - for me this device works great but I can see other handed people being disappointed.

I desperately needed a new charger, especially one that could at least do two batteries at a time. I personally believe certain things about battery chemistry, from what I understand everyone has their quirks. I prefer to charge my batteries at 500mA, I believe it is the most beneficial charging method in any case. Now that I've explained my reasoning, all I can really say about this XTAR MC2 is that it performs the way it should. I have tested its abilities with a multimeter and I feel even safer letting my batteries charge with this device over any other I have. I enjoy it's portability, I can easily put this in my pocket with no problems. I would gladly purchase this item again if it were to break or I lost it somehow, very quality piece of work.

Once I saw this atomizer I knew I had to have it, quickly it became one of my favorites. I was worried at first since there's no air flow control, I wasn't sure how well I would enjoy that but it turns out it's perfect! I've only done a few builds but I've been very happy with them, I noticed dual coils seem to fit better due to the air flow. Although I'm more of a single coiler, I was able to use some 24 AWG A1 to make a dual coil equivalent. This atty is very fun in my opinion, I have a blast building on it; the posts are exactly where I want them along with the post holes. One thing that anyone interested should be aware of, there is a whistle without any build and on certain single coil builds. To remove this whistle what I do is use the chuff cap which reduces it significantly, then if needed I will position the coil in front of one of the air flow holes. I would recommend this, I may even buy another or two just to have as I love the design of the Petri.

PROS
Fits snug Prefer to use it on cloudy builds Feels very comfortable
CONS
Doesn't work well with 'average' builds
After seeing these around the internet I really wanted one, seemed like an interesting idea instead of adding holes they drilled it down the drip tip which cools itself. I was worried from hearing other people saying you could do it yourself, slipstream the drip tip instead of adding holes to it. After trying to slipstream my regular drip tips I didn't really enjoy the result. I was delightfully pleased when I got this in the mail and quickly threw it on a few different attys to test it out. At first I noticed it didn't go well with my 'average' builds that don't push out much vapor. Obviously I got mostly air instead of vapor, but right away I noticed how comfortable the drip tip felt. I finally ended up with putting it on my Lemo 2 which is my most cloudy build and I believe they work amazingly together. It's hard for me to describe what it does, but it feels different than directly slipstreaming. I would recommend this to anyone who's interested like I was, it's very nice to have if you're wanting to experiment.

PROS
Doesn't gunk up Came with a red O-ring instead of white Fits snug on all of my RBA's
CONS
Only one O-ring Smaller than expected Little hard to drip into
After finding some drip tips that were advertised as "uncrustable" I began looking for an alternative that didn't cost $30+ USD. My search ended after finding that those drip tips were made from Teflon, also known as PFTE respectively. This drip tip was my first test, I will be trying a few more but this one seemed to be the most average sized. Being able to actually drip e-juice down it is a benefit, I notice I am able — to but I would prefer to take the cap off as to prevent juice from getting sucked up like a straw. To summerize, these Teflon drip tips work similar to your cookware in that they will prevent things from sticking to the surface. I have yet to have any gunk build up on mine, success! Thanks
