PROS
Very bright Rather cheap for what you get Compact design Well built Hidden strobe mode Great conversation piece
CONS
Heavy Low mode a bit low Needs a lot of batteries Switch too sensitive for transportation
You will probably remember the first time you turned this thing on! That is if all you've had before in your hand where incandescent bulb old school things or even more modern single led flashlights. Well that's my case... and the first time i ignited this Cree XML trio was something i'll remember. Be careful how you handle it when you turn it on because it is blindingly bright on high mode. This is not a flashlight but more like a projector or some heavy duty thing the city uses to light up buildings and monuments at night. There are many other multiple high power leds flashlights available and some are certainly several times brighter then this one, but they do cost several times more too. As said in the other reviews, the overall build is rather good. The form factor is somewhat unusual though. Instead of a stick like flashlight it is more like a can of soda, and about the same weight if not more. I like it that way. It is very manageable, compact and easy to store. The switch is very sensitive. Although it is comfortable to be able to light up at the touch of a button, it is too easy in fact. Just handling the light can turn it on and carrying it will certainly be a problem. As for all multiple LiIon batteries assembly it is highly recommended to always use a same set of identical batteries with the same state of charge. Don't mess up with the batteries by mixing brands or charged/discharged batteries. If a discharged battery is inserted with three other fully charged ones, they will likely unload onto the empty one as fast as they can which can induce very hight currents and possible damages - like a cell (or four) exploding (at worst). Overall a really great flashlight. If you've never had a multiple emitter one in hand, this is a good choice to start with, at a very accessible price.

PROS
Bright Well built Well balanced beam Long runtime with two 26650 Flexible - one or two 18650/26650 Straight, efficient, no nonsense design Hidden strobe and SOS modes
CONS
Rather big and heavy in full 26650 setup No side switch
This is not a pocket light, although without the extension tube it is not so big. With two cells it reminds me of old school multiple D cells Maglites. That said, it is a very bright - for a single XML2 emitter, well driven light. It does throw quite far but with a well balanced beam that still lets you see your surroundings. No noticeable PWM in mid or low mod. I took a quick measure of the tail cap current on hight with two 26650... 2A. I also checked the overall voltage with the two cells in serie: 7.7V... That's more then 15W! A single XML2 is supposed to work at 10W max... No wonder it is so bright and far reaching. The smooth and deep reflector does certainly help. I read an in depth review that measured almost three hours of runtime on high with two 26650 (french): http://www.puissanceled.com/L5_speciale_XML2 That same review says it weighs close to half a kilogram with two 26650 - i haven't weighed it myself, but it is a serious piece of hardware you have in hand. Overall, a very decent build "hand" flashlight with a well driven XML2, a comfortable reflector and power source. For the price this is a very good value light that i recommend to anyone that wants a good big light handy in the house or the car.

PROS
Very bright Well built Compact Hidden strobe (long press) Side switch Any number of batteries from 1 to 4
CONS
Only two modes Low mode rather high - does not make much difference.
If you've never had a multiple high output LED flashlight before, this one will very certainly surprise you. Be careful when you turn it on as it is blindingly bright. Indoor and tail standing it will light up a decent room as if the lights where on. Outdoor it will literally 'split the night' - it is quite something! It has a rather floody beam that will nonetheless throw some good distance by shear power. Tint is rather cold. The light is rather well built. Compact and heavy design. About the size of a can of soda and about the same weight it seems. A bit of warning: It can involves four 18650 cells in parallel and for any such multiple cells assembly one should be careful to always use a coherent set of same brand and quality cells at the same state of charge. Just inserting a cell the wrong way could create a disaster with unprotected batteries. A nice feature of this parallel batteries design is it will keep working with any number of cells, even just one out of four. One disappointment is the rather useless second mode which is still very bright, even for a mid mode. With so much power it would have been very convenient to have at least three levels of output or even better, a dimmer. The strobe mode is hidden - keep the button pressed a few seconds in any mode, so that you do not run into it unless you need it. The light does become hot rather quickly on high. The side switch is a nice feature. It is very sensitive and easy to use. However this may be an issue when carrying it. For those who already own the FandyFire UV-S5 SKU1057203, this one is a bit brighter to the benefit of a wider and denser flood, but it won't blow you away again like the first time. Still very impressive for sure. The tint is a bit colder. I'm not sure about the glass lens, and it does not come in a nice box. The bottom can be unscrewed... and the pill looks like it could be unscrewed too - i haven't got into disassembling it. One strange thing about the light i received is it uses Cree XMLs and not XML2s as expected... Overall, this is a very impressive and powerful light for the price. It will amaze you and anyone around. A very affordable choice for a compact multiple emitters light.

PROS
Very decent damas blade Plain hard wood handle Great looking ergonomic shape Leather sheath Well made
CONS
Not full tang Not sure about the blade quality for this price Funny colored ring i would do without
I have no use for this knife but i've long wanted a damas blade... and for under $40 i took a chance seeing the pictures. It is what i expected, and certainly more. I can't believe how nice this knife is for the price! It is exactly as pictured, although my handle wood is slightly less figured and the sheath is brown. This kind of blade usually goes for more then five times this price. The blade is as figured as i was hoping and sharp out of the box. However i have no clue how 'genuine' the damas steel may be or how 'good' it is. It is very stiff and looks great for sure. The handle just by itself is a very nice piece of craftsmanship. It is made of a very dense hard wood, possibly some sort of rosewood, with two bicolor metal round inserts. The junction with the blade is made of brass with a funny colorful ring in between that i would do without. The overall finish is quite good. A very good buy, at least for a shelve queen... and possibly more.

PROS
Cheap Bright Fun
CONS
Noisy bearing Probably not very robust Does not spin long
This is quite an amazing spinner for the price. Although it wont break any spin time record, the lighting effects and patterns are really neat. The leds are bright enough that it will show very well in daylight conditions - no need to be in the dark. You have to press a tiny switch located beside the led strip, under the flexible plastic cover, to turn it on. Then it will produce various patterns while spinning, regardless of the speed. Same thing to turn it off. Not sure it will last very long or how to change the battery... But for the price it is a must have and a great spinner to give away.
