Cheap Small Carabiner clip
CONS
Really cheap Unpractical set of four tiny batteries Very faint light
I bought a few of those keychain lights just to see, planning to gift them around, but they are so poorly bad that i can't even give them away. It outputs a very faint light that tend to flicker depending how well you screwed the top part. The worst is there is no switch: you have to unscrew the front end to turn it off. Then the two parts are a bit loose and its likely you will either lose the front or it will turn on by itself at some point... Overall it's a waste of money, even at that price.

Well built Can work with 14500 and AA standard batteries Zoom
I'm amazed by this little thing. Solid aluminum, glass lens, heavy and well built, bright light for the size. It works both with 14500 rechargeable batteries and standard AA ones with rather little difference in output - although run time is probably half with AA. Very practical in case you run out of fresh 14500. Zooming is smooth and efficient. A really good buy in my opinion. I bought several in black and silver and give them away to friends, making many happy people around me!

PROS
Well built Rather lightweight Small size for a mod
CONS
VV feature not very efficient and practical
A simple, small and rather classy little mod you can take with you anywhere. The VV feature is not very obvious and i'm not sure it makes much of a difference. You have to click fifteen times to switch it off and power it back to the same mode... not very practical. 14500 batteries will not last very long so be sure to have a couple spares with you when on the go. Goes very well with a mini Protank.

PROS
Bright Compact design Well built Can hide the strobe and SOS modes Lanyard included
CONS
Gets a bit hot on Hi Beam a bit too narrow
I have several other single Cree XML/18650 flashlights and this is certainly my favorite so far. It's not the cheapest in this category but it is one of the brightest, it is well built, compact and allows you to get ride of the strobe and SOS modes for everyday use. Only cons are the light gets quickly hot on Hi mode - but it's not that bad, and the beam is a bit narrow to my taste. I wish it had a wider flood. Overall, a very good buy.

PROS
Cheap Single AAA battery Small Clip Rather bright
CONS
A bit long No O-rings Somewhat cold light
I bought this one at the same time as the similar but a bit cheaper MXDL (SKU 1148801) and there are a few small differences. This flashlight as no o-rings to seal the parts which may be a problem in a wet environment. The light it outputs is a bit 'cold' to my taste but quite bright. The clip is simple yet efficient. The switch is a bit recessed which may have allowed for a tail stand if it was no slightly protruding. Overall a good little EDC flashlight for the price.
