Machining on threads is just fine. Finish on top cap is a little rough looking with swirl marks but could be fixed with some buffing. HOWEVER, I will say that the drip tip had a shard of milled SS in it so check that good before you vape it. Came very clean with no trace or smell of machine oil. Juice Flow holes are much smaller than on my SXK clone so I can see me drilling these out a bit eventually. Some say the deck screw heads are too small but they are actually just fine if you understand how the KF 5 was meant to be coiled. The orings it comes with look really nice but they are very soft silicone and some are too large so are no good for the parts where there's any friction. I suggest you replace the oring for the AFC from the soft 14OD*1 it comes with to a regular rubber/buna 11*1 or 12*1. 11mm works good but I will try a 12mm when I get some to make it a little tighter. The soft silicone one it ships with will tear up on first use. All the V5 deck parts listed here on FT work fine with this one.

PROS
all around good clone
CONS
allan key is worthless airflow holes on the deck are positioned in a stupid way, but it is the same as the authentic.
I changed the screws on it because of the older review showing pics of the screws disintegrating. Shortest you can use is M2x3mm but can go as long as M2x5mm. It take a while to wick properly to eliminate leaking, but there are videos where you can get ideas on how to do it. This is not really an MTL atty, it's more like restricted DL or very loose MTL as it is. But you can plug up 2 of the 3 airflow whole for a tighter craw. However even with one whole it's still a very loose MTL. A really surefire way to plug up the holes is to use pieces of moldable silicone ear plugs, which can be found for under 3 dollars at wally world for a 12-pack. Manufacturing seems very good for an atty clone of this price. I was impressed actually. Also impressed at how clean it was from the box. I still washed it well, but no evidence of machine oil. Allen key that comes with it is worthless as it does not work in M2 hex head screws.

I like these, but I prefer the 316 SS version in 1.0 ohms. They seem to last MUCH longer. They tend to flood if left unused for an hour or more on 50/50 juice (sometimes it floods, sometimes it doesn't). It's strange because the juice ports aren't that big at all. But the nice thing is if used on a top airflow tank, the flood is easy to clear by closing the top airflow and blowing in the drip tip. This pushed the excess juice out of the coil head and back into the tank. I only got about 700 puffs on this head but I have over 2000 on the BF 316 SS 1.0 ohm head and still going.

PROS
Nice futuristic pipe look, if you're into that sort of thing. Pretty well built except all in all
CONS
Drip tip not conformable in mouth Drip tip bore is not 510 (a little bigger) Tank seems to eat juice even at 16 watts LVC coil heads sucks Battery door becomes a little loose and wiggles side to side in hand
PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOT A TC VAPER SO THIS REVIEWS HAS NO INFO ON THE TC FUNCTION. I vape at 15-18W with 50/50 juice and the LVC floods very easily even when juice port is completely closed. The LVC coil head does not last long. Just a couple days. Go for a BF head. They also have a tendency to flood when the mod/tank isn't in use for a little wile or overnight, but not as much as the LVC. The nice thing is since it is a top airflow tank and the juice inlets are at the bottom of the coil head, it's rather easy to clear a flooded head by closing the airflow on the tank and blowing into the drip tip to push the juice out of the head and back into the tanks. You'll have to do this a few times. The tank looks great, but is the worst part of the mod since the heads tend to flood and seems to eat juice even at 16W. Seems like I'm constantly filling the tank. Also, the tank is very nice looking but it's hard to see the juice level. This mod is too heavy on the tank end and therefore cannot be used very easily with the pipe stand sku 1871107. The finish on the mod and tank seem very durable. I have been using this mod VERY MUCH for the last few weeks and have not sen any wear on the finish at all. The battery door sits tightly at first, but after some use it does start to fit more loosely and tends to wiggle a little bit as you hold it in your hand. The design is not 100% ergonomic, if you want to hold it exactly like a tobacco pipe. However, if you are OK with holding it differently, it works just fine. The fire button is much more sensitive than any other mod I have ever owned. that can be good or bad. There does seem to be a small glitch with the chip. It never displays the decimal place for the wattage when vaping and during adjustment it's a hit or miss of you can see the decimal place. Al you see is the "W". This is more of an annoyance for me than anything. I though upgrading the firmware might fix this but it did not. All the current firmware update gives you is logo screen functionality as far as I know. All in all, I would say that if you want a pipe mod, this is an OK buy. Much better than I thought. But I would use the BF heads. Maybe the LVC work better with higher VG juice, but they suck with 50/50 juice.
