Very good for DIY enthusiasts, but please don't use it for high current LEDs which dissipate alot of heat. I'd recommend using the glue only to fix the LEDs a little and fill up the rest of the heatsink with good thermal compound. The glue is strong, but if you need to remove it, use a screwdriver with care.

It is very useful in DIY projects. Also, it is quite accurate. I'm using in in several DIY projects, including the measurement of light spread in my house - to supplement where needed, according to the lux meter :)

The actual design is sluggish. You need to use a self powered USB HUB in order for this to function 100% at its power. It keeps your coffee warm, indeed.

Excellent product, it keeps the current constant at 350-360mA. Beware of higher voltages: it will get hot at 4.5 - 5V and it needs a heatsink or at least a good grip on the heatsink of the LED + thermal compound.

PROS
- doesn't get too hot @ 12V/0.65A;
You pay bananas, you get monkeys. I really don't have any cons for this price. I am very pleased with it, working very well with a small heatsink of 50mm x 80mm and 3mm thick. The temperature hasn't passed 60 degrees Celsius. Would recommend using a good thermal compound and possibly a reflector (not a len).
